Sedirea japonica

Very small plant with long roots. Sedirea japonica arrived with bare roots. I decided to pot it into coconut husk chips, since my phals grow well in it. I took the larges pot and still had to twist and curl the roots to fit them all in. One worry - roots don't have growing points.

Vanda testacea

Vanda testacea came bare rooted and roots just grow so wide. I tried to squeeze it into the widest vase I had - and just cracked the roots for nothing - it didn't fit. Will keep it in a basket and see how it goes. The cracks are visible on the two top right roots, hope they are not totally ruined:

It got appropriate vase for now. There is something on the left that looks like an old dried spike which means it is blooming size:

Nice bush but literally no roots due to rot. Planted into smallest clay pot with chc and will see what comes out of it:
