Dendrobium farmeri
New dendrobium that I just got from Tropical Gardens Orchids opened the blooms on first spike. They are pretty and fuzzy. Dendrobium farmeri flowers have pink blush on white petals and very yellow center. I like it a lot...

My hoya plants
I found some peduncles on my Hoya bella and decided to do update on all my hoya plants. While filming the plants - I found yet another hoya that decided to bloom...
I just started growing them recently and they are quickly becoming my favorites. I think I need more of those hoya plants.

April 2019 orchids update
My Dend. jenkinsii had cold dry rest during winter and... I found spikes!
Aeranthes ramosa started new spike growing in complete shade - didn't expect that.
Bulbophyllums didn't like my fertilizing schedule and complained developing brown leaf tips...

Bulbophyllum lasiochilum blooms
My extremely cute bulbo plant produced a flower. It took a while to actually open. For many days it looked like a lobster claw of a green color with some brown pattern and I was wondering if that was it....

Bulbophyllum Kalimpong blooms
Here is my first success with bulbophyllums. I got this Bulbophyllum Kalimpong from Piping Rock Orchids, it was potted established division, but I decided to mount it on the piece of cork bark.
It took plant about a year to get re-established enough to bloom. Didn't do anything special for it really, just watered, so it tells me this cross is an easy bloomer...

Vanilla planifolia variegata
Got my first vanilla plant from Ecuagenera in mid-october. First couple weeks it was in the clay pot with sphagnum moss and branches free hanging. In such setup I rotted all bottom part - including all root ball and part of the main stem. Two cuttings with some aerial roots were saved. So, now I potted them into clay pot with bark and gave them something to climb on.
Plant is in the warm tank under the fan for increased air movement. Hope it will work:

Phalaenopsis Nobby's Fox in bloom
Phal. Nobby's Fox = Buena Jewel x Penang Girl. Wonderful cross - has very pleasant fragrance, pretty colors and nice shape. Also blooms a lot.
This time it has blooms on three spikes at the same time. Too bad spikes are too short.
