And a cutest spike which now definitely looks like a spike. I like how fat and sturdy it seems, it doesn't flop down but grows up, although pretty slow to my taste:
Well, with the pulcherrima influence you'll get an upright spike, and the parishii/lobbii influence is what's making it slow. I think this will be a great little flower.
