Phal. KS Jadegreen 'Kung sir'

This phal came in March with two spikes full of blooms.
Now all the blooms fell off, but one late single bud on one of the spikes just opened up now and looks very nice uncrowded alone.
So I took couple of pictures in the tank.
Phalaenopsis KS Jadegreen 'Kung Sir':

I like dark yellow spots at the bottom:

Since there were lots of blooms opened simultaneously, I am guessing it is not a sequential bloomer and this would be probably the end of this year show. Would I have to cut off the spikes?

  2. K S Jadegreen is only 25% stuartiana, which is the only non-sequential species in its ancestry, so it should have sequential blooming characteristics. I would leave the spike on until it browns.
