Phalaenopsis amboinensis x hieroglyphica

This cute plant is a cross of amboinensis and hieroglyphica. I think it could be interesting - parents have totally different patterns and google search shows quite a variety of blooms from such a cross.

This hybrid was actually registered in 2004 under the name: Phalaenopsis Frenchy's Plastic Yellow. I am not particularly thrilled about the name, mostly because of the word "plastic", but what can you do.

Plant is in a good shape, there are some healthy roots with growing points inside the pot, new leaf is growing and, the most exciting - there is a spike already. It is an old spike and not active right now, but I hope it won't dry and will produce some blooms.
