Recovering angraecum

This summmer I decided to put Angraecum sesquipedale outside so it could take some temp differences and maybe initiate blooms.
That was a bad decision because I totally forgot about it and didn't water for couple weeks in hot and dry weather.
After discovering dehydrated angraecum, I took it back inside. Roots were all dry. I repotted it adding some chc to the bark mix.

It was standing there doing noting for couple months, I was wondering if it is going to die or recover, but now I can see a new root above the media.
