Phal. Coral Isles x corningiana

Discovered one more new spike, really excited about this one.
Phal. Coral Isles x corningiana already had a spike, but instead of blooming it produced a keiki. Keiki is growing well and putting third leaf now. I decided to leave it on mother plant and when repotting plant I burried keikis roots into media too:

I thought that since plant spends an energy on growing this keiki I will never see blooms. Well, yesterday when watering I found a spike:

I am pretty sure that on the opposite side under the keikis leaf there is another spike start, but I could not get a picture of that one, so we will see it when it comes out from under the leaf.

I really like the wild shape of corningiana flowers and hope this cross will pick up something from it.

Phal. Coral Isles x corningiana repotting

I wanted to repot my cross of Coral Isles x corningiana because it was hanging froom one side of the small clay pot and keikis root was in a very awkward position.

In general I was pleased with roots conditions of this phal:

Small keiki that terminated unbloomed spike now has two own roots and the third one is poking out too:

I decided that I will not remove this keiki from the mother plant, so I potted the plant making sure that keiki roots are inside the moss too:

Weird growth on Coral Isles x corningiana

There was a spike from the beginning on my Phalaenopsis Coral Isles x corningiana. Spike was small and not active.
Recently it activated and here is what came out of it:

View from the other side:

What does it try to grow? I am clueless.
Picture of the whole plant:

Phal. Coral Isles x corningiana

Phalaenopsis Coral Isles x corningiana came with all kinds of problems - rotted and dried out roots, black splothes on the leaf, but there was also a spike.
I had to cut the big portion of a mature leaf and sprinkle the cinnamon on the cut. Then I potted it up and let it be.

I wasn't sure if it will make it or not, and should I even bother logging it here. But since after couple weeks it is still alive and now looks like it is pushing a new leaf - here it is.

Now if only it grew some new roots...
