Phal. Chang Maw Evergreen 'U-Bix' x P. {Tzu Chiang Litlitz x P. (Buena Jewel x Peach State Red)} x P. (Su-An Super Star x George Vasquez)

Shortly after dropping a flower on the first spike, second spike got ready to bloom on Phal. Chang Maw Evergreen 'U-Bix' x P. {Tzu Chiang Litlitz x P. (Buena Jewel x Peach State Red)} x P. (Su-An Super Star x George Vasquez) :

I know, the shape is not great, but I really like the color, texture, fragrance and large size of blooms.

For some reason blooms always look down on this plant. Spikes are too short for clip yet, so it is a challenge to make a picture.

There is one more bud growing on the same spike:

Lueddemanniana: more blooms

Couple more buds opened on Phalaenopsis lueddemanniana.

I really like this plant, the fragrance is incredible too.

I think lueddemanniana is becoming one of my favorite species.

Here it is with other phal - hybrid with really long name. Both have very nice fragrance:

Phal. Chang Maw Evergreen 'U-Bix' x P. {Tzu Chiang Litlitz x P. (Buena Jewel x Peach State Red)} x P. (Su-An Super Star x George Vasquez) blooms again.

This plant just finished blooming last fall and now started again.

To be honest I like the previous blooming better and not sure what caused the difference - the color was not as dark and more pink last time.
It is getting much more light now, maybe that is the reason, I don't know.

This plant is a sequential bloomer and there is also second spike started, so I will be enjoying the flowers for a while. The fragrance is still the same and very pleasant.

I have a second plant of the same cross, it currently grows a spike. Very curious to see how the blooms will look on that one.

Next to bloom

Phalaenopsis hybrid with very long name is getting ready to flower next after luedde:

It has nicely pink and elegant blooms with very pleasant fragrance. Just for the record - the name is Phal. Chang Maw Evergreen 'U-Bix' x P. {Tzu Chiang Litlitz x P. (Buena Jewel x Peach State Red)} x P. (Su-An Super Star x George Vasquez).
I wonder if it ever has a chance to get a shorter name. Plant started second spike on the other side, so I will be able to enjoy its fragrant blooms for a while.

I think I am going to buy just fragrant orchids from now on. This will give my collection some kind of theme, so it is not just a mess of everything together.

Phal. Chang Maw Evergreen 'U-Bix' x....

Here is what I discovered hiding under the leaf of Phal. Chang Maw Evergreen 'U-Bix' x P. {Tzu Chiang Litlitz x P. (Buena Jewel x Peach State Red)} x P. (Su-An Super Star x George Vasquez):

I really wish it had a shorter name.
I have many phals activated their spikes now, but when comparing them to guess which one will bloom first I didn't even consider this little hybrid.
It just finished profuse blooming on two spikes in September. Older spike shedded off, this newer spike was sleeping and I thought it will reactivate after a year of rest.
Now maybe it is responding to hot and humid conditions of orchid tank, I don't know.

I can clearly see the bud growing and am glad that at least this plant grows a bloom not a keiki...

Phal. Chang Maw Evergreen 'U-Bix' x P. {Tzu Chiang Litlitz x P. (Buena Jewel x Peach State Red)} x P. (Su-An Super Star x George Vasquez) second bloom

Second flower opened on Phal. Chang Maw Evergreen 'U-Bix' x P. {Tzu Chiang Litlitz x P. (Buena Jewel x Peach State Red)} x P. (Su-An Super Star x George Vasquez) today and I like it better than the first one:

I like everything about this phal- the color of the blooms, the shape and the smell.
There is one more bud on the same spike and the whole new spike is coming out. Hopefully there will be more blooms to enjoy.

Phal hybrid with long name blooms

Phal. Chang Maw Evergreen 'U-Bix' x P. {Tzu Chiang Litlitz x P. (Buena Jewel x Peach State Red)} x P. (Su-An Super Star x George Vasquez) finally bloomed:

The bloom looks wonderful, it is pink with some magenta glow and very shiny at that.
The flower looks down, so I had to lay the pot on the grass to be able to take decent picture of the bloom:

The fragrance is very nice and reminds me of Princess Kaiulani a lot.

Yet one more preview

And I am very intrigued by this one.

The label on the plant reads:
Phal. Chang Maw Evergreen 'U-Bix' x P. {Tzu Chiang Litlitz x P. (Buena Jewel x Peach State Red)} x P. (Su-An Super Star x George Vasquez)

There was no actual picture of the cross anywhere, just pics of the parents. One of them - yellow, the other - almost solid red. I can see a bit of a reddish tinge coming through the petals on the bud.

The shape of the bud is quite interesting too, I hope flower will look nice.
There are two active spikes on the plant, but second one is still small and doesn't have buds yet:

Phalaenopsis hybrid with really long name

That's probably what you would call a complex hybrid:
Phalaenopsis Chang Maw Evergreen 'U-Bix' x P. {Tzu Chiang Litlitz x P. (Buena Jewel x Peach State Red)} x P. (Su-An Super Star x George Vasquez)
I don't even know how to break this label down to actual parents with all kinds of braces.
Anyway, here is the plant:

There is a spike, but the end of it is sort of crooked almost 90 degrees:

I wonder how would that happen and is it still good?
